Red, White & Blue Blog Hop 6/23 & 6/24

Happy Thursday, I hope you're all having a Fabulous week! Welcome to the Red, White & Blue Blog hop being hosted by the amazing Nicolette! If you arrived here from Janice's blog, then you're in the right place. If you want to start at the beginning of the hop, then head back on over to Beyond Scrapin.

I was so excited for this hop, because what better way to get ready for the 4th of July, than with a patriotic blog hop to set the mood. Here is what I came up with to show my pride in the Red, White & Blue:

I used the Cricut Stand & Salute cartridge along with some basic blue card stock. I cut the USA out of glitter paper, and added some red & blue glittery card stock to highlight the words "American Pride". I cut the Statue of Liberty out of light green card stock and the fireworks with red, white & blue paper.

I finished off the card with red & clear rhinestones & ribbon from my Etsy shop.

For the next stop on the hop, you'll be heading over to Susan's blog and I'm sure you're going love what she's created. Now for the good stuff, Blog Candy! I will be giving away a combination of 5 yards of ribbon from my Etsy shop that I used on my cards, along with 100 rhinestones for your next project. All you have to do is leave a comment below and become a follower.  I will choose a winner on Monday 6/27. Thank you for stopping my little corner of the blog universe. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and until next time..... Continue to Create A Crafty Life ~

Nicolette's Birthday Bash Blog Hop June 1st and 2nd

Happy Wednesday Ladies and welcome to Nicolette's Birthday Bash Blog Hop! If you arrived here from  Deborah's blog then you're in the right place. If you just stopped by and want to start at the beginning of the hop, then head on over to Nicolette's blog and don't forget to wish her a Very Happy Birthday!!!

The theme for this hop is a Disney Birthday. I wanted to make sure to incorporate lots of bling, because what's a girls birthday without feeling like a Queen??? So here is what I came up with:

I used basic white cardstock and layered it with Red & White polka dot paper. I then layered that with a Zebra print, Black & Red Glitter Cardstock. I used a scallop punch for the circle & finished it off with the Mickey & Minnie Mouse ribbon & rhinestones from my Etsy shop. The Mickey head was from a Disney chipboard set and I added the rhinestone for the eye.
I finished off the edges with just a bit of ink and used a rub-on for the Happy Birthday message.

I hope you are all enjoying the Nicolette's Birthday Hop! Your next stop on the hop is Pam and trust me, you do not want to miss what she has in store for you!

Now for the best part.... Blog Candy!!! I will be giving away 3 yards of ribbon & 1 package of rhinestones from my Etsy shop to one 1 lucky blog hopper! All you have to do is be a follower of my blog and leave a comment on this post. I will be choosing a winner on Sunday 6/5. Until then, I hope you all have a Great week and Continue To Create A Crafty Life ~
